I went to this show last Thursday, and as usual, Gavin rocked the house! Got to do the meet and greet thing before the show and he remembered me from previous shows, which was pretty effin' cool.

Unfortunately I had mezzanine seats and for some odd reason, when people actually have a seat for a show they don't rock out. Most people were sitting in their seats looking around at each other. For most of the show, people on the floor weren't really feeling the music either. The only time they woke up is when Gavin came close to the edge of the stage or sang one of his most well known songs. Why come to a show if you're not going to rock?! For the first third of the show I was in my seat squirming like a little kid. I'm bobbin' my head and singing along while the girl to my right was giving me looks. Do you think I cared? Hell no!

The show started with Relative and segued into Crush, my favorite song from Chariot. Oh, I was dying inside! What was wrong with these people? As the show went on and Gavin's energy built, I just had to get out of my seat, so I headed for the aisle so that I could sing and dance to my heart's content. At one point a girl came up to me and asked if she could dance with me, and me, her, and her friend danced together for the rest of the show.

Of course Gavin did I Don't Want to Be and Chariot. He also did Belief, Nice to Meet You (Anyway), Chemical Party, In Love with a Girl, Untamed, Next to Me (Wait a Minute Sister), We Belong Together, Never the Same, Young Love, Cop Stop, and I already mentioned Relative and Crush. He also did a bit of I Really Like You. These are in no particular order and I hope I didn't miss anything.

I saw him again after the show and told him how much I enjoyed it except for the fact that almost everyone stayed in their seats. When I told him that I got up and went out into the aisle, his response was "You gotta just say f*ck 'em!" Gotta love the Gav. The only thing that keeps me from giving the show 5 stars is my fellow concertgoers...
