I'm so excited about the contest... it's a great way for the fans to get involved AND for others who might not know Gavin's music to find out about it through YouTube.

true i think it makes it harder for them if you enter the contest already knowing your entry isn't valid. just makes it harder for the ones who can qualify to be seen.

maybe they'll have another contest for people in Europe. you wouldnt want people from the US trying to enter that one if it hurt your own chances.

otherwise, yes it will be cool if gavin actually gets to see these

Don't be angry with Gavin. He is an American on an American record label who is having a contest in America. It's not discriminatory. Its harder than you think to have a WORLDwide contest. Its bad enough that there are thousands of American entrants for them to sort through. Just be patient and maybe one day there will be a special opportunity for you. You KNOW he loves you all!

Im French and I'm gonna try the consest too ! even if I can't, I'll do it for fun and because I really love music even if I don't sing very well lol

hey rca thanks for answering my questions. got a few more:

- do you prefer that we dont wear logos in the video?

- also do you prefer we play just the song in the video? i know we're giving you guys the right to just cut it however you want so that just the winner's song will be played when the contest is over. but i think some companies feel weird or iffy having to cut portions of the video out (talking parts in the beginning or end.) basically is it better for us to just play the song without dialogue, so you guys dont have to worry about cutting the video in case one of us wins?

Why only americans?

I know it says you can enter multiple times. Does that mean you can enter both the phone contest AND the youtube one?

I tried to to find a way to contact an administrator for the site to ask them but can't find an email address to ask.

I was so excited when I read this News article but then I read the rules of the contest and like all my fellow european fans, or fans who come from any other country in the world, got disappointed. Come on Gavin, there must be something you can do about it.

I read the rules of the contest and I'm very disappointed because I discovered that may participate only those living in the United States... And we funny Europeans?! Me and my friends were already ready to give the first "action"!
