I'm a fan because Gavin's songs are true lyrical poetry. As someone who dabbles in writing, I respect his talent as a songwriter. The lyrics are real and raw and have a way of reaching into your heart. His writing talent combined with his soulful, raspy voice create a sound that no person can resist. His optimistic attitude about love provides hope that the kind of love he so passionately sings about in his lyrics really exists. I went to Town Point Park in Virginia to see him in concert, and the last thing I expected was to meet him. However, there sat Gavin out on the grass before the show graciously talking with his fans and signing autographs. I am a fan because Gavin works hard to bring his passion to the fans. He demonstrates his artistic talent by constantly changing the arrangements of his music, and presenting the same songs in a new light. Gavin embodies all the characteristics that a true musician should possess.

Amazing
Gavin was amazing last night. The atmosphere and performance at the National was top notch. I had the best time that I have ever had at a concert. I never seen an artist more devoted to his fans. Gavin was willing to get up close and personal with the fans. He played the longest set of songs I've ever seen an artist perform. His playful attitude and enthusiasm spreads from the stage to the audience to create the greatest atmosphere for fun. So if you missed that concert I feel sorry for you. He played a mixture and old and new that so sure to please any fan.
